Planning was shaped by the client's spatial brief together with the expansive views and natural elements of the site - "the design evolved in direct response to climatic conditions, site contours, aspect and orientation and views." Despite its overall size, the main house and guest house sit low and quietly on the site.
A natural material palette blends them into the landscape, while refined detailing gives the building a contemporary form.
